Good to know
Are you a licensed electrician?
Yes. Odin Electric holds South Australian electrical licence PGE306648, and our ABN is 50 827 585 797. You're welcome to check the licence on the Consumer and Business Services (CBS) public register.
Will I get a Certificate of Compliance?
Yes. In South Australia, licensed electrical workers must issue a Certificate of Compliance for prescribed electrical work. We provide one when the job is finished so you have a record for insurance, sale or lease.
Can you quote from photos?
Often, yes. For simpler jobs, photos of your switchboard and the area you want work done can be enough for a quote. Bigger jobs usually need a quick site visit.
What kind of electrical work do you do?
We look after homes, rental properties and small businesses across Adelaide. That includes repairs and fault finding, switchboard upgrades, lighting and LED downlights, power points and rewiring, safety inspections and smoke alarms, EV chargers, ceiling fans, and renovation work. See the full list on our services page.
Who will actually do the work?
Odin Electric is director-led, so you'll usually deal with Yazen from your first call through to the finished job. There's no call centre and no passing your job to someone you haven't met.
How much does an electrician cost?
It depends on the job, the materials and how much access there is to the ceiling, walls and switchboard. For most jobs we'll give you a clear price before any work starts. For fault finding, where the cause isn't known yet, we'll explain how it's charged up front so there are no surprises.
Do you give fixed quotes?
Where the scope is clear, yes. You'll know what's included and what it costs before we start. If we find something unexpected once we're on site, like damaged wiring in the ceiling, we'll stop and talk to you before doing any extra work.
